Pay It Forward – Starts April 18th!
All members in the region are welcome to participate in the GPRC’s Pay It Forward. This event will give shoppers an elevated shopping experience while encouraging them to try new stores by offering coupons to other businesses with their purchases.
How It Works:
Member Businesses in the Greater Parkland Region are invited to create 50 coupons (4”x2 ½”) and drop them off at the GPRC office (4814 44 Avenue in Stony Plain) before April 8th. The coupons can include any promotion or event that suits the business. Ideas for promotions could be:
- Discount on select merchandise
- Buy one get one free or discounted
- Opportunity to book a private shopping experience
- Opportunity to shop outside regular business hours
- Free or discounted item with minimum purchase
The Chamber’s Role:
The GPRC will collect all the coupons, stamp them for validity, and the redistribute them at random to all participating businesses before April 18th. We’ll promote the event through our social media, on our website, on the Stony Plain and Wabamun digital signs and through our e-Blasts and newsletters. All participating businesses will be listed on our webpage for additional exposure as well.
The Details:
Coupons must be valid from April 18th to May 1st.. (at earliest, can continue longer if business prefers), and only 50 coupons per business will be available. Each business will receive a variety of coupons from all participating stores. We encourage businesses to attach the coupons to customers receipts at random so all businesses can benefit equally from the promotion.
GPRC members can participate in the event for free.
