We welcome keynote speaker Mackenzie Brown, Project Manager at Indigenous Tourism Alberta, who will share her expertise on 'Creating Effective Partnerships, Creating Reciprocal Relationships, Protocol and Misconceptions'. There will also be a round table panel featuring local Indigenous business owners discussing stereotypes, challenges, and triumphs of business ownership in the Region.

In 2021, the Greater Parkland Regional Chamber of Commerce took the historic and meaningful step in creating its Indigenous Business Committee. This committee has a strong desire through the GPRC Board of Directors, its members, and vested stakeholders to enhance Indigenous business' participation in the economic development of the region by promoting sustainability and diversity, further encouraging social growth in the Greater Parkland Region.
